front fender oxidation fix!!!

Whatz up people!? My driver side font fender was oxidized pretty bad when I bought her. I took it to the wash tub to have it polished waxed and compound waxed on the fender. the guy said he also put some paint sealant on it to hold its shine. It looked gr8 after it was done but a couple of days later it rained and the oxidation was back. I waxed it myself with a mothers product, but u can still c a little oxidation. Do you guys know what I have to do to it to keep the oxidation out, without having it re-painted and if so do y'all know of a gr8 detail shop that can do this???

I bet what the dude did was put something like 3M glaze on the fender. It's a product that makes the paint ultra shiny, but washes off easily. It's used a lot in car shows. The only complete fix I know of for oxidized paint is repainting. You may be able to wetsand some of it out, but depending on the age/quality of the paint job that's pretty risky.

Thnx I was thinking about having it wet sanded because I really dont want to shell out for new painted fender that doesnt match the rest fo the car, know what i mean? There's a detail place here in S.A., cant remeber the name off hand but im thinking about checking them out. If anyone has any suggestions on waxes or anything like that plz let me know!

It's a long shot, but you could try Meguir's Scratch X. It all depends on how deep the oxidation is. If you have the fender repainted, there's no reason it shouldn't match...my door was repainted (see sig) and it matches fine.
