Has anyone found a way to put one on your bumper without drilling?

Idea:
Sit and stare at your front bumper for six hours while holding duck tape in one hand and beer in the other.

I am still thinking of how to do it. I dont want to have it pressed up against the paint, but if I come up with something, Ill let you know.

3M double sided emblem and moulding tape will adhere it to the bumper but it will be hell to get off.

I have only had my 07 a month and a half, and I never put my front plate on. I do have it on the floorboard in the back in case some one wants to see it. It looks like there are two little depressions to mark where to drill the holes, but the service manager at Gillespies said it would ugly up the front end! But the tech doing the work said that it was required, and they were supposed to order me a license plate frame of some kind. I never heard from them. What kind of bolts do you use to mount the plate? Do you need a nut on the back?
I think a frame would just make it look worse, but im open for suggestions.

Thanks Gary

i keep hearing all the hype about the front plate law being repealed, but just and FYI - i was ticketed on weds, 4 Oct, and one of the things that one of SAPD's finest did was to check for my front plate. Looks like we will have those ugly things on the front of our cars for some time to come

My Friend and I might have come up with something that will mount the plate on without it drilling thru the body. As soon as I get off my lazy butt and get the plates, I am going to try it. I will let everyone know how it turns out, supposing it turns out how we want it to.

Having no front LP doesn't make your car look that much better. I've taken it off a couple times just to snap some pix. I guess since I know the sheriffs will pull you over for anything I just leave it on. Trying to catch me riding dirty-Chamillionaire

i put my impreza's plate in the front window only because i bent up the license plate frame that says "IMPREZA" on it.. lol i can't have non matching front and rear plates ya know... actually the plate will be going back on before i finnish the motor swap even though i dont want to... it's al bent up from the fender bender iw as in... as for my sunbird, well that car is so ugly at least it has SOMETHING shiny on it.. so the front plate will stay.. and as for the stang, i think i'll have enough problems w/ tickets and such that i'll just leave it on there so it's one less thing i have to worry about..

I've got an 86 Bronco II that hasn't had a front plate for a little of three years. It's not because it doesn't look good, but I just don't know where it is.

I've never had any problems without it. Maybe the police see me from the front and think I'm from NM or something.
