Front Steering Question

I have a 68 stang and I was considering going to manual steering from power steering and I didnt know the ball joints were different sizes? My car has drum brakes at all fours, but I've picked up some disk brakes from a 68 Gt and the ball joint holes in the spindles are larger than the drum brake spindles.

Can the manual close ratio steering box be used in conjunction with power steering?

What has other people done?

Should I stay with the orignal equip pwr steering or convert to manual?

Also need advice on a master for the brakes.

Thanks,
Matt

I guess my question is what makes you want manual steering over power? Are you going to race the car, or is it to drive daily? As far as a disc conversion, you will need a correct power brake booster and a pressure valve to get the system to work correctly. It all depends on how you intend to drive the car as to what mods you should make. There are a ton of websites that can give you a 'how to' to help you achieve your upgrades.
