Gas Pedal

I'm having a problem reaching the gas pedal in my '01. Is there anything to extend it so that I'm not sitting on the steering wheel????

you can take the slack out of the petal to raise it up, but the cable will stretch back out again over time. You can also bend the assembly arm (two bolts and the whole assembly comes off) so its closer~ but in the end the cable will stretch again unless you have a stop to keep the petal from going to far down.
