gas pedal on 67

I need to know what holds the gas pedal on , when I got my 67 the pedal was moving around and is held on by a small screw with a pin ,,, I took it off and it looks like the hole is treaded,, is it just a bolt and if so what size , i am trying to fix so i can take it to biffs... please help

I beleive it was just a push in type pinwith an interferance fit originally, You may have to get inventive and "come up" with a remedy that works.

i found the srew on mustang plus , it is a special screw that I will have to order ,, $4 bucks , thanks

my 65 pedal used to move around alot too, but I never fixed it.

The '66 I had as a kid had a very floppy gas pedal, but I never bothered to fix it or investigate it ... I figured I could step on the pedal rod if I had to ....

Ya learn somethin' new EVERY DAY, even if it is 20-something years late! LOL!
