gears...
so finally got the hoes in and dang.... the shit pulls hard 1,2,3rd. A huge difference. Went with Ford Racing 4.10s FTW! It's been some time since last shot at the quarter. Best previous time was 14.39 @ 98 with bald ass tires. Since I've added under-drive pullies, rear NT555's, and 4.10s. Gotta get use to new driving habits if you know what I mean. Anybody running 4.10s on their V8 or V6?

debating it. either that or 3.73. did you put a t-loc or true trac in yours? and if so, did it come with the set? i am looking at either 3.73 or 4.10 gears from Ford Racing and couldn't locate on their site the t-loc or true trac.

I know the tloc provides better traction to go with the gears... i guess not everyone has it installed ... should have had it installed all at once $$$

Gears do not come with a Tlok. The mustang differential is already a Tlok differential. All he did was chenge the ring & pinion gears.

jack the rear of the car up. spin one wheel by hand and see if the opposite wheel turns the same way if so it has a limited slip or trac loc, if it turns the opposite way it's a one wheel wonder.

You think going from stock to 4.10's is great, you should have seen mine when I had stock 2.73's and went to 3.73's, you are right, you have to learn to shift all over again, soon, I'll swap to a 4.10.
