Call AB&T transmission and ask for Jeff. They are the best around the Austin area that I know of.

I got mine done at Need for Speed, 815 Chestnut Bastrop TX (512)581-0400.

prices, y'all?

i can just drop the rear and gears off one day and pick them up the next day if some mechanic wanted to do it for a case of beer or so.....

WERD. Mine were like $450.00. That included gears, installation kit (new bearings, etc) and fluid. The rear end fluid is expensive due to it being synthetic. What ratio are you going with?

I don't think so, no whining in the rear end and I am positive they were set up correctly.

Gears-Richmond 3.73's $159.00

synthetic rear end fluid -$90.00

Installation kit - I think it was like $50.00

labor and tax

now i have all the parts and no one to install them.

thanks for the luck, but hopefully i won't need it. i have to post pics of the rear end to make everyone jealous of the deal i got on it. the girdle is so shiny still.

$90 for rear end fluid??!?!?! The Mobil 1 Synthetic is only $7/qt at AutoZone. The rearend only uses 2 quarts. You got ripped, sorry.
