id probably be down if it was in the afternoon/evening. id be tied up with church till about 1. and its probably gonna be a hot one during the afternoon.
There is usually a nice breeze out at Bracken.. iv been wanting to try bullet hole out also.
Id say early if possible or if they stay open evening would be good. Not to interested in the middle of the day heat myself

I went to bullet hole for my CHL and all that, its not too bad, they added a covered area so it isnt as hot as it could be out there, but its still hot.
on Sundays I either work a specific schedule of 10-7pm or im off and im not sure if this is my Sunday off coming up. if I'm off id prob be down to go, i have some bullshit ammo to burn through anyway and i really havent shot my AR at all yet. Gotta sight it in too now that Im thinking about it.

oh yeah, bullet hole is open until 8pm, so if you guys wanted to do a shoot later in the day that may be better, although its a drive for most of you NE side guys.
you may be able to get a group discount maybe too, on the first visit you have to pay for range membership, range fee, then any ammo you may have to buy from them

I have like 1500 rounds of plinking ammo for my .40. I need to get some more trigger time on it. Im looking into buying a G27, XD .40 Sub, M&P .40 Sub.. lol

I'll be out at BH in the afternoon. I have a few boxes of 9mm and .45ACP to get rid of. I was thinking of getting a bay for an hour or so to do some scattergun work as well.

So where is the range in Bracken and where is Bullet Hole? I know there is an old Shutzen between Bracken and the Comunity of Comal, but have not found a modern shooting range near Bracken. Their locations marked on a map would be nice, but the addresses would be helpfull. I have been to most of the older ranges in the area, but I keep finding out about others, that I have not been to. I have heard there is another range, I have not been to near Seguin.
The current combo is an '85 coupe with 302 bored and stroked to 364, Ported Twisted Wedge heads and a BXR intake, A9M ECM with a Moates chip, Doug Nash 5 spd, 4.56 gears, Hoosier 275/60/15 drag radials.
Daily driver '89 GT 302 stock block, crank, rods and pistons, ported GT-40P heads with stock valves, Ported Explorer intake, B302 cam, Z spec T5, 3.73 gears, Moates chip and no traction. Made 325 whp and 325 wtq.

shit yeah they are, i had a hard time shooting it in Hawaii. fucking bullets were all over the place. I think I killed a guy...maybe two.
I'm not sure what I'm gonna get, I just know I'm gonna look toward a .40 cal and see what fits my hand nicely. i looked at the sub compact glocks and sigs but they just dont fit right in my hand. i dont like how my pinky hangs off cuz i feel like the guns gonna fly outta my hand. I saw a new S&W bodyguard series with the integrated lasers and may look into that.
Plus i need to see how this would all incorporate into my current set of clothes i have, some people say they have to buy new clothes whenever they get a CHL but thats not what im worried about too much at this point.

Just remember that a CC gun needs to be as small as your comfortable with. A subcompacts gun doesnt fit anyones hand really lol. One of my favorite pistols I had was my Ruger LCP. I could only fit 2 fingers on it, but i could also slip it in my front pocket and it literally disappeared with a pocket holster. That is some comfy CC. My big issue with it was the availability of .380 ammo.
Iv been on the search for my next CC pistol for a while. I think im going to stay in the realm of .40 cal just for simplicity sake. I already have a Glock 22(full sized .40) so a G27 sub compact or a xd .40SC or M&P .40C would be a nice pick up.. I just need to find one used thats a decent deal. to many ppl are price gouging these days. Wanting new gun prices for a used gun.. gimmie a break.

werd. i got a friend that may or may not hook me up but we'll see. i started a thread asking for help in that area trying to narrow it down a bit. i just don't know and exact brand or anything yet, but i want a gun im comfortable with like your saying. the beretta and glock ive shot were all ones i could shoot if i had to but nothing i would want for CC

The whole point of the thread was for a group to go.. A group couldnt go, so no arrangements were made. When a lot of ppl can go, then we will get something in the works.
