    Good picture taking spots

Does anyone know where to go so that I can get Carol's stang and SS in some pics with water in the background or decent backgrounds. Dave, Carol, and I found the Venomous spot@ Gruene, but would like something to where you could possibly get different angles from. There is also aspot where an old wooden building with a coca-cola sign or Texas flag in the background, but don't remember where that is. I think somewhere north of SA is where it's located. If ya do know where any spots are, please post up an example shot, & with directions, please.

    Fuckin' A.

Make this a sticky so we can have an official "sweet spot" thread for good locales for people who want to take shots of their cars with snazzy backgrounds as opposed to
the back side of Target or a driveway.

I found several cool spots around Bandera going up towards Helotes, I took some in front of a nice subdivision called Cielo Hills that had cascading water going down the rocks

There's a concrete factory? I think. That's off nacodoches if you go away from town about 4-5 miles down. I'm on my iPod at work now but when I get home I'll put up a couple quick ones I took.

You can't just post a picture and say that you like the spot and not tell us where the location is.

Although it is somewhat of a distance north of San Antonio, Wimberley has more than a handful of locations with waterfront access for pictures. If you're interested let me know and I'll mark off locations on google maps.

+2 for Wimberly, if you want that green scenery.
Devil's Backbone! Park on the rest area there and shoot some pics.
I like the downtown area in Austin. I would love to take some pics on the Congress bridge but traffic is flowing like crazy all the time.

I remember there used to be alot more bluebonnets and indian paintbrush flowers in the country side. rarely see them anymore and if you do its just a few patches. TX should spread seed so these flowers can comeback. its our state flower for crying out loud!

anybody know where/if they sell the seeds for these flowers?

did you have your camera on auto or manual focus? the main thing that throws your pics off was that it looks like the backgrounds are more in focus than the car. just some constructive critisizm.
