Got a New Job!

I got a call from Toyota, I start in 2 weeks as a production team member.

I actually went down and did an interview today. How many steps/interviews did you have?

They asked in my interview, " Do you mind traveling for training, both domestic and international".

I Said, " No ma'am, I love to travel and have a passport."

Damn thats sweet for you. If you're of age and you make it to Biffs I got your first Beer.

thanks, I'm really gonna try and make it out to biffs, it'll be my first time there. two of my friends are in japan right now, they tell me most new hires wont have to travel much if at all. I guess it just depends on what you get hired to do.

got a question for ya.. have you heard anything about toyota hiring engineering interns for the summer?

the buzz around school is that they are planning to, but im not sure if that is just speculation or not. let me know if you hear anything!

I have seen some jobs on mysa.com from toyota for some management positions, hope I can make it to biffs for my free beer

Congrats on the new job! I hope they hire me. I went through all the testing and the interview. Then they also called me back to take testing for Team Leader also. Haven't heard anything yet, but I called the status line # and it still says your application is currently under review. i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Man, I was just about to ask you the same. I went for my last interview (for the team leader position) back around the 2nd week in October but have yet to hear anything. You? How long did it take for you to find out you were hired after your interview? Do you have to do anything else before you start? Ex. physical, drug screen, background check? You know, the normal stuff.
