Got my tint done, Good job, good price

I went over to the guy that's on Prue road that a few of you suggested. He was a real nice guy and did a great job. I told him that a few of you had recommended him and he was pleasantly surprised. I recommend anybody else on here to go see him. Mine was $98 w/front brow. He has a special going on right now, $59.99 any of the tint that he has on any car. He also buys 40" tint rolls so he does the back window with one piece instead of two like the other places.

I told him I'd try to send him come business so if you go over there mention the site, that way he knows it's getting around.

Yes he does, I got mine done on Saturday. If I remember correctly, these are his hours.

8:30-5 M-F
9-4 Sat.

problem being the only tint made is 35% and 20%, nothing inbetween.

I have never ever ever heard of anyone getting a ticket for 20% and the law WAS 35% before Sept 1st.

So I would put a lot of money on saying your safe with 20% tint.

I got mine tinted in WA, im not sure what exactly they did with the dot matrix.

Ill take a look at mine. I guess they either go over it, or use a strip of limo tint to cover it up.

Hey lawrence, I went to the guy on prue rd today and spoke to him...he opens at 8:30 and its 1st come 1st served. take like 1.5hr and its 65 until the end of the year...maybe the 15th of jan...i am taking jess's car on fri....but i told him more would be coming...

He tinted over mine. He basically told me that sometimes the tint will stick and sometimes it won't, it's a 50/50 shot. Some people choose not to put the tint over it though and have it trimmed.

Depends on the weather. I had mine done on Sat. but I haven't rolled down the windows yet. The colder and more humid it is the longer you should wait. I'm waiting till at least Wed. night just to be on the safe side.

It should depend on what kind of glue they use. I have had to wait seven days and once just one day.

Not cops so much as towns that are just out to make a buck. I know every town will have a cop or two, but I just wanted to know if there was a town that was bad about it, Like Selma and Speeding.

don't let them tint over the dot matrix..When i had it done on my old car it started peeling and it got really freakin annoying when i would roll the windows down and hear the damn thing flapping all over the place...

I was talking to this guy at my work today who puts tint on the new cars, and i asked him how much he would charge to do my car with whatever kind of tint I want on it he said he would do it for $80. But I am not sure yet I will get back to yall. He might have lied to me.

i had mine tinted over the dot matrix stuff and it's only peeled down just a little bit two or three times. and all i did to fix it was take some clear nail polish and dab it on there. it fixes it for close to a year that way.
