GT H-pipe

What I wanna know if I were to take off my stock V6 exhaust, leaving the headers on, would a stock GT H-Pipe with cats fit to replace? Or would there be a problem(s) ?

You'll have to wait for an expert to get the correct answer, but I would think "no". Due to the fact the blocks are different sizes, I don't think they would line up. Just my .02

no. the 4.6 is a wide motor. the 3.8 isn't. you can buy an h pipe for a v6 or have an x pipe custom made, but 4.6 midpipes won't fit as they are.

also the stock midpipe is the same thing on the 3.8 and 4.6 as far as function goes... both have cats and both use 2.25" piping. midway back the v6 Y's into one pipe. giving it dual exhaust is the best place to start, not with the midpipe.

if the cats are good it could be worth a few bucks to someone needing to pass emissions.
