Long live the Boys!

Hey Fred what's up..good to see you on here...I am gonna chime in a bit.
Here is why we are frustrated... We called for an appointment explaining eveything that needed fixed. We bring the car in first thing Friday morning and Sharon tells me she expects it back same day. Friday eve rolls around and she tells me that everything was completed save the cold engine rev issues. She asked to keep it over the weekend so they can test it out first thing Monday morning (they wanted a cold start). Ok, no problem. I call Monday evening and was told by a gentleman that they had no idea what was done to the car expect that it was on the lift. I say "Sharon said everything was done expect the tac issue". Julie stops by and finds out that nothing...at all...had been completed, and to expect our car on Thursday. We've now gone from everything but tac to nada...seriously. We dropped it off understanding we'd have it back in time for a couple of willford hall appointments...Julie had some things done to her back (involved big needles) and there is no comparison between the rental, Cobra's and Magnum's ride (Magnum much smoother of course). Had we known this was something that could have potentially taken a few days then we have waited to schedule. Had we known that nothing was done to the car we could have made some arrangements for another ride to big Willie. I am pretty upset with Sharon...she either lied to us or had no clue and gave us garbage information. As for the rental....I am not concerned with that issue..it's Julie that doesn't like to drive around in a 4 banger...cannot blame her though :p Be good Mick |

Well they finished the Magnum today and I just picked it up. The woman in the service department was as nice as can be and offered to pick up the extra tab for the rental vehicle. The car runs like a dream although we haven't tried it at higher speeds to see if it still vibrates. It's aligned straight and I don't smell oil burning. Anyway, it was a long drawn out process but i am happy with the final outcome :jeff:

I must kinda chuckle... I am glad you got everything resolved all B.S. aside... but I must chuckle cuz I know when I deal with situations like this I get treated like a peice of trash half the time cuz I guess I look like a dirty biker trash bastage.. HAH call it my fault or whatever, but I think that is just total B.S. I treat everyone with respect, don't give me a line of garbage in return, or the nazi gnomes will come after you@!#%@#%
Ok sorry, too many beers.. back to regular programming =)

Finally home for good from the Azores!

Julie,
Did you tell Mike about this? One of our Impala guys works at Ancira Chrysler. You could have taken it there. They always treated us right when we used to have the mini-van. Mary PS - 6 more months and I'm home for good!!!!!!!! |
