Again:
We're talking about v6 mustangs not GT, odd firing 8clinder cars. Go to any mustang forum and ask them what sounds better on a v6.... 8/10 people will say flows.

I have concluded, you have no idea what your talking about when it comes to v6's... Maybe its you who have no taste in sound quality, straight through muflers on a v6 sounds like a honda civic/s2000/350z no rumble complete 'raspyness a.k.a fart cannon sounding' above any rpm other than idle.

We're not talking about GT's last time I checked this said "v6 tech"

I had Flowmasters on my old 2000 V6, and I thought they sounded pretty damn good... Got compliments from many people on the sound as well.

However, on my new V6 (2007) I will be trying out a different exhaust set-up, Longtube headers, high-flow catted X-pipe, and a straight through style cat-back... all made by Stainless Works.

I also have a little more money to work with on the new V6, seeing as how I was only 18 years old when I had my 2000.

I was just making a point that MY $50 mufflers sound freaking sweet so obviously price doesn't matter. -J

They did sound nice for a sixer. When I first met Jeff, thought he had a V-8 at first....

the whole point is to sound as good as 350z. You are the first person I have ever heard say that. You have shown your lack of taste with your statements

350zs, porsche, etc all sound great! A civic or s2000 with a 9K rpm 4 cylinder will never sound like a v6 no matter what you do. Please stop spreading your genralizations.

Can you honestly tell me you think 6 cylinder trucks with dumped flowmasters sound good? Oh my God

Are you stupid? Obviously you must be who the hell wants their mustang to sound like a 350z / g35 ? Those are 4v dohc motors which our cars wont sound like, and yes they are very raspy. Mustangs are supposed to have a deep rumble not a deep buzz. Leave the v6 section untill you learn somthing. And where in the hell do you get 6 cylinder trucks with dumped flowmasters from? Were talking aboout stagngs not 4.2L f150s dumped.
