so i got my longtubes put in on tuesday (thanks to lethal! you guys rock!) and i gotta say i love my car even more now. its so loud and it sounds so good. i havent found anyone that doesnt like it. its got a nice idle too. alot of people think im driving a v8. it gets really loud at WOT. (just for reference i dont have any cats) and my car just sounds alot better in general! one girls jaw dropped when she heard it (she was in her boyfriends rsx haha) my other friend with an 04 v6 mustang loved it and wants lt's now and so on and so forth. these are a great addition! cant wait to go get my xcal2 tomorow! i got a soundclip but its not the best thing.. ill get a link up here in a second!

so if any of you v6 guys are thinking of what to do next.. i say go with some long tubes. you wont be dissapointed!

setup is-- mac ceramic long tubes. o/r midpipe. flowmaster super 40's mufflers.
the clip was taken from about 10 ft behind my car and i didnt rev above 3k rpms. the clip doesnt really do it justice though!

that actually sounds pretty good. usually the v6 sound does change (not in a good way) once it gets up in the RPMs - how does it sound once you get up there?

at one point just before 3k it gets a little raspy. but that lasts for only about 500 rpms. otherwise its good. i love it. really loud. i think i may get highflow cats later on and maybe that will help the rasp but im not planning on doing that soon

ill try and get a video this weekend when im actually driving so it will actually sound better and you will be able to hear the little bit of rasp

woo congrats! actually i found out i still have my y... long story. basically i got screwed by the shop that originally did my exhaust as i had told them to put on an H pipe too and they said they ordered it and everything. (so going into get the LTs installed i thought i had an H) but yes i still have my Y :\

ahahahaha!!! last night as me and mustangmelish were driving through the embassy parking lot, some guy in a gt with exhaust chased us down and started revving his car next to us. so melish revved too and shouted out, "its a 6!!" and the guy didnt believe us!! he kept on asking us if we were sure it was a 6. after we told him for the third or fourth time, he just said, "riiiiiiiiiight" and drove away. it was amazing

lol you can still tell its a v6^ that guys an idiot lol. even v6's motor work n exhaust have a hint of 6.. but it does soun good tho mel
