It looks it would seem so. Some more peace of mind:
"Dennis, No, you should not need to change the cam bearings, the CompCams cam should be the same journal size as stock. We've installed many of them and never had to change cam bearings. No cams come with cam bearings, but when you refresh an engine, you change cam bearings, but thats different from just installing a cam. Now, if the bearings are worn or were damaged during installation then thats something different. If you ordered an instal kit and we forgot the head gaskets, that would also be what you'd call a stupid mistake. If we did that, we'll reimburse you for the omission. I looked at your dynograph and saw somthing very interesting. Look at 3400 RPM which is the IMRC activation point, on the runs with the ported heads and ported intakes, the IMRC opening depression is gone. Having it gone is a very good thing. would you ask your tuner if he did anything to IMRC activation in the computer. What part of town is Fastlane located? Have they done several v6's before? I am working with Justin on my tune, but things are coming slow. After I get a few things finished (paint, etc.) I might could use some help tweaking the tune. Do they use SCT?
By the way, nice car. Might have to get together once mine is on the streets again. |

fastlane can be found at powerstrokes.com and is off of jones rd. and fm 1960. Yes, they've done plenty of v6's before including mine and my friend's before he moved to a GT. Jason is one of the top 3 tuners apparently in Houston that is proficient in both imports and domestics.
yes; they specialize in sct and diablo. I'm in SW part of town; what about you? btw here's my #'s: ![]()
