Has anyone ever put H-Pipe on your classic, I was think about putting H-pipe later on when I put headers.
Would this make better flow? |

I had an H-pipe when I had the 71 Torino. It was a 351C with full length Hooker Super comp headers. After the H install, exhaust was much quieter and more mellow sounding than just having the true duals. Didn't really feel any major performance gains

Oh, well, I thought maybe it would give a deeper sound and a better bite at WOT.

Theoretically, since it balances out the exhaust pulses, it should be a slightly mellower sound than true duals and a little better performance. It's got a meatier sound than X-pipes, which have a raspy NASCAR sound to them (not to my liking), and is better for a street powerband.
