Dan C., admin of AAS just banned me, because i proved him wrong. poor admin. oh well, i already took screen shots of all the pm's i needed.

i got banned for defending a "soliciter" who was offering someone a lifetime warrantied paint job for 800$.

i was banned from there too, however the admin/mods claimed to not know why i was banned or by whom, but i was reinstated.

haha, no.. they banned me on purpose.

Dan C. was saying that txgomez or whatever was trying to make a profit off of people on AAS. txgomez was offering a lifetime guaranteed paint job for 800$. paint jobs take atleast a full weekend, im sure. anyways, dan c. was telling me to explain why txgomez was chargin that much if paint doesnt cost that much. so i said, assuming that he has a family or loved ones that he visits after work, would he be willing to sacrifice his time with his loved ones to do work for free? and if so, gimme your number because i have plenty free stuff you can do for me...

he didnt like that too much, so he banned me. haha, oh well. he asked me to explain, so i did.

I read the whole thing and GomezTX did nothing wrong, except not pay them whatever money they charge to advertise on their site and they got pissy about him getting AAS business. I'm still going to contact him about a quote for a paint job on my coupe. I don't think you should have been banned either. That is a bunch of B.S. IMO, you were just defending the guy and Dan is just being a dick.

I see both you and Dan having points.AAS board is probably payed for by advertisers that have chose to do so.It makes viewing boards such as their's possible.If he let just any Joe Blow get on there to offer their services without their small donation to the board it would be like slapping the other guys in the face that do advertise.It would not be fair to them.So he was just doing his job.

welcome... and last time i looked, dan's name was yellow/orange, which is the color of an administrator on aas. owner and administrator can be the same thing.
