[quote=H0SS302;410028]i already scrape my chin on stuff when driving(down hills and parking lots) so why would i want to do it ALL the time. [quote]

True that. With my BBK's I scrape on just about every speed bump, bet my exhaust is pretty dinged up. The ride is different yes, but you will sacrifice beinag able to drive anywhere. With my Cobra R bumper the spring problem is compounded 1000 %

Id do the styling bar, Not really a big fan of the shakers. IMO. I think they are more for looks as well. My buddys dad has one on his gt and was told that is really only functional when in excess speed of 100mph, which in the 1/4 mile thats at the very end. ANd who drives over 100mph all day!! seriously!

Don't get the shaker. That's a whole lot of expensiveness that isn't going to do shit for performance. Ya, it looks cool, but..eh. Money spent best elsewhere.

For 'verts, it's almost mandatory that, if you want to have a great looking 'vert, you NEED a styling bar...or go all out and get a roll bar.
Convertible Mustangs look 90% better with a styling bar, especially when they're lowered. It looks so much cleaner and doesn't look nearly as gay, especially with a dude driving it. (no offense intended)

If you had wheels/tires like mine, lowered the car, installed a styling bar... that'd be a tough looking 'vert.

My vote goes to the styling bar.. then lower it.

I think you mean if it were called a BlueTooth bar..

Styling bar/light bar ... same thing. It's not a roll bar because it's not built to handle a roll over. It's for show..

That's why I recommended actually getting a real roll bar. Then it will have some functionality to it, stiffen the car up some, and look cool.
Then you won't be like every other sissy with a cute 'vert with a styling bar.

Here, I'll make it easy for you, Cody:

DO NOT BUY THE SHAKER. THAT WHOLE THING IS JUST NO BUENO.

I repeat:

DO NOT BUY THE SHAKER.

You'll be glad you didn't in the end.

A functional roll bar would look like this. Not sure if it's the look you are going for.

yeah, I agree. if it's the same as the mach's there is virtually no functionality.
it may take some cool air in, but then it runs down a turbulant tube to the stock air box. It's NOTHING more than an appearance mod. the twisting of the scoop under WOT is cool though. I like the bars. I've especially liked them throughout the years on the saleens. then later you can get the tonneau cover. if you're ever gonna mod the hood, go with the Termi hood.
