Shaker.
IMO getting rid of the stock GT hood was the best apearance mod I made. The GT hood scoop just acts as a barrier for air flow, the hood would always vibrate and you could see it trying to lift up from the scoop area at highway speeds.

I would say the shaker. It has a nice look and a function. If you like the stance that's what matters. Some like it low and some like it real low! Just wait on the style bar, you can do that after the shaker. Good luck, take some pictures when you "get ur done"

Doesn't the style bar help reduce the "twisting" from not having all the hard top support?? I don't know how much of a difference it makes but if it helps that is what I would do first. I drove my 97 convertible for 2 years before buying my 03 and I couldn't believe the difference in ride quality. So my vote is anything for a "stiffer" ride...

i agree about the springs. when i lowered mine, i couldn't believe the difference in the ride quality for the better. but if that's not an option for you now, go with the shaker. better functionality IMO.

The styling bar is just that. Only for style. It offers no real rigidity or rollover protection. It's just a tube covered in molded poluyuretahne foam.

you cant ask our opinons and give us choices we dont like
lol. thats like me making a thread and saying what should i do next Fart cans or glow in the dark ricer graphics. (i know its a little extreme lol) but i can understand its what you want to do but our opinions are just that "opinions" if you not gonna budge on springs (because mommy says no jk) i say shaker by far or a real bar that provides roll over protection.And when amanda gets into the mix with moderating we know we have been real bad! lol jk |
