    Hello from California

    Hello LSS,
My name is Joe and I own an 89 LX and a 1980 turbo coupe. The 89 is my DD and has minor bolt-ons including UD pulleys, shorty headers, o/r h-pipe and 4.10 gears. The 80 turbo coupe will be undergoing a restoration very soon. Here a a few pics:

Well property values have dropped a lot around these parts, but its still not worth buying. Ive been thinking about getting outta this state for some time now. As far as emissions are concerned ... if they were to stop me with out my catted h-pipe, my car would be impounded and I would be lead to the back of a squad car in hand-cuffs.

Shoot, you'd love it here. Working stiffs like me get harassed and taxed to death .. but if you cross into the United States illegally you get:

    1 - A job
    2 - A driver's license
    3 - A Social Security card
    4 - Welfare
    5 - Food stamps
    6 - Credit cards
7 - Subsidized rent or a loan to buy a house
    8 - Free education
    9 - Free health care
    10 - A lobbyist in Washington
11 - Billions of dollars in public documents printed in your language
12 - Millions of servicemen and women who are willing to - and do - die
for your right to the ways and means of our constitution
13 - And the right to carry the flag of your country - the one you walked
out on - while you call America racist and protest that you don't get
    enough respect.

    just saying

I paid over 4 dollars a gallon along the coast line.. And I enjoyed it... Went all the way down to la Mesa in San Diego to visit a friend... Was a very enjoyable drive, that is untill we headed away from the coast. It was 72 when we left San Diego, and when we hit el centro it was 102...
