Angry !!!Help, my window won't roll up!!!

I have a 02 GT with electric windows. I rolled my driver's side window down today and it won't roll back up. When I push up I don't hear anything, but when I push the down button it makes a clicking nose around the fuse box area. The passenger's window still works. This happened a few months ago and it started working again after a day. Is it the motor for the window? If anyone knows what to do, please share. The good thing is I live on base and the crime is very low. Thanks for any help given!

Mine did this a few months ago.. It was a pretty simple fix. I took the switch apart and cleaned the contacts.. Worked for a few weeks and then stopped again. Had to take the motor out and replace the granite... A buddy of mine had some extra motor parts from airplanes laying around that I took the granite from.. But, yours sounds like it is just the contacts.. Give that a try!

+1, sounds like the switch is bad on the "up" side

I went outside the next day and my window rolled up. I took apart the switch and cleaned the contacts. I think its time to buy a new switch. Anyone know where to get one without paying full price at a Ford dealership? Does O'Reilly's or Auto Zone sell it?
