Hit A Dead Deer!!!!! Need Help!!!!

Well last nite on the way to Austin, I hit a dead deer. I cant find any visible damage, but when Im goin down the highway, around 60 to 70 mph, and I jerk the wheel back and forth, it feels like the car is gonna tip over. It handles really loosely. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be. I did notice that the engine brace bar underneath the car, right before the headers is bent, do you think that could cause the car to roll like it does???? Please any help would be great!!!! Thanks Jake

Are you talking about the K-member being bent? Did you check the sway bar attachments (the ends) behind the wheels? Do to the body roll you're describing, I would start with that, as it sounds your front sway bar is not doing it's job.

I know it's a long ass drive to Georgetown, but I'm off today and if you want come on by and we'll see what we can see and/or fix.

I bet you broke a swaw bar end link. It will cause the car to lean really bad while cornering or just turning the wheel to change lanes. It happened to me once and it was a pain to drive. If thats the problem get you a set of the Energy Suspension end links. Cost about $30 and its a 15 minute job in the driveway.

Yeah man I will check that out!!!! Everything looks good, Ill take a closer look at the end links. The front sway bar looks good, but that lil black one behind it is bent, i think they call it the k member brace. Thanks guys!!!!
