Hitachi Plasma
Anybody here fixes Plasma TV's at a reasonable price? I have a 42" Hitachi EDTV
thats about 4 yrs old that needs some working on.

hate to tell you this man, but a plasmas life span is about 5 to 6 years, so make sure you take it to someone honest that will tell you if its worth fixing or not

The life span on the new ones are 10-12 years. Plasma TVs have come a long way. I have had them for years...have 2 of them. Normally Hitachi is a good brand. I have a Pioneer and Panasonic. There are a lot of myths about plasma TVs. Google is your friend and you will see what I am talking about.

he said its about four years old so thats why I grouped it with the plasmas with short life spans.

Yea Its an older one because I don't even think they are making EDTV's anymore. I'd hate to throw it away though.

make some calls, see what you find out, look on yahoo with the product number and see if you can find out any info on it.
