i did those but after awhile they annoyed me (the pushpins), so i went out and got some prices from bodyshops and they all tried to screw me bad, so i got lucky and found a black sixer and asked if they wanted a free wing....they said yes...and then i told them the catch is we gotta swap trunklids, they agreed and now im wingless!!! LOVE that smooth sleek look!!

IMO that is the half assed way to go. i wouldn't mind guiding you through fiberglassing them. it's really not hard, just takes some time and guts to start messing with your car. total cost of body work if you do it yourself would be about 50, and then paint is up to you, but that shouldn't run you that much either. and it'll look great. obviously it's just a suggestion, but you can shave a lot more stuff than just the spoiler holes on the deck...

here is a pic where it's almost done, just needs to get some highs and lows out of where the 3rd brake light was.

easiest option is to find a v6 spoiler-less deck though.

I have the plastic plugs now. I got them from Lowes in those hardware drawers. They were cheap, so I bought a handfull of sizes and tested them til I found the right ones. This spring, the trunklid is getting refinished though. Damn plugs are annoying me now lol

shaving the brake light is much more involved and does add about 5lbs to the rear of the trunk, neccessitating relocating the trunk strut bracket. otherwise it'll slam shut easily and is actually a little dangerous IMO, and if nothing else, a pain in the ass.
