hookups on windshields?

anybody got one? mine was just demolished on the highway by my hood...top of car is dented in also...might just go through insurance for this but dunno...

Did your hood latch fail or did you forget to close the hood all the way?

i dunno its weird Dan cuz i just got back from taking the other hood(from the car show) off the car and i was pulling on it for a while and it just didnt come up...i was on the highway for a while too before it happened...went from the airport and it didnt happen until i got to 10 and west ave...was going only 50 also the whole way...

the latch looks fine the carbon fiber hood is cracked to shit...the are that houses the windshield wpiers is cracked on both sides, the hood is dented in pretty bad, dome light inside comes on and off, glass all over teh interior, stock hood wont reattach now...it sucks

Sorry to hear about that Phil. I havent heard of any of the newer mustangs have hood latch/catch failure. The FOX bodies were notorious for it. That is why I run hood pins. Maybe you should consider some before you put a new hood on it.

i might, im actually gonna try to see if this guy at the shop can fix everything through insurance and get a different hood for me, since it may technically be cheaper than replacing the one i had...so ill look into those too...

Just had my husbands window done; unfortunate accident while trimming trees

this guy was wonderful and cheap from the estimates I got while calling around. He was also very nice!!!!!!! Lately a rare find.
