    Horsepower

What would be the best bang for the buck. Looking to increase horsepower without breaking the bank. Would love to drop in a SC just not feasible right now. I have a 07 GT and not sure what is out there that would be great power adders...
    Thanks

Nitrous would be best(funds wise) only if you would look to get your car tuned.
    S/C is even better though.

With a 75-100 shot the factory gears will be fine.
A blue bottle and some sticky tires would be up first.

+1 I switched out my ratio to 3.90s and with M'T's and a 75 shot, I was cutting 1.8s at that time before any tune, suspen., bolt on's. cams, etc. and now the cars cuts a 1.6-1.7. Still Slow but good.

You happy with the 3.90'? I hear a ton of bad stuff about them whining.

On a side note, if I could do it again I would go 4.10's, but stuck with my 3.73's and moving on to new mods.

    To the OP.

Easiest bang for buck itemsnot all of them add hp, but still make the car feel quicker)
    CAI
    TUNE
    GEARS
    UDP
    Delete plates
    Tires

Should start with the tuner really, because you have to retune for so many other mods anyway, might as well get one first. Always good deals on CAI+tune around.

Someone mentioned about a tune, is that something that I can have done even if I don't do anyother mod and still gain horsepower, if so who and approximately how much and what system seems the best...thanks for the replies

very happy indeed, able to maintain my launch and top end with them. as far as the whine, gears are gears they eventually do whine, though no whine in my gears yet.

Ditto! Even though it won't add power to your baseline, the acceleration advantage you will gain will feel like you increased the horsepower. You're gonna do it eventually anyway

Reading a bazillion forums and posts on that topic, the consensus seems to be its fine to go with a canned tune from one any of the big mustang shops, and you should see a gain in hp and torque.

I know Blowbyracing does $50 email tunes and as they would say "we got the s197 dialed in nice..."

the s197's seem to like the CAI tune combo. That is a decent gain.

If you want a little more a set a cams would go over well in combination with a tuner.

CAI + tune for sure. You can buy a ton of used CAI on the forums for very cheap. But whichever direction you choose to go, you need to have a tune as that is your foundation.

I am a big nitrous fan but not everyone is comfortable with using it. As long as it is installed correctly and tuned for the nitrous, it will be as safe as any other direction you decide to go.

If you decide to go with a blower, I don't recommend getting gears just yet.
Old setup, Blower only pass at HRP

    Current setup, overheated mid run

Everything is bigger in Texas.. even the asians.
