Hush Street Meet #3

Date: July 22nd (Friday)
Time: 9:30pm

Address: 15625 Katy Freeway Houston,TX 77094 713.330.HUSH

The plan:

Meet at 9:30pm-11pm in the back parking lot of the Nightclub.
Leave for the cruise at 11pm sharp, the route will be announced
End of the cruise leads us back to HUSH
Go to Hush to party (18+), play pool (free), etc (they are opening the second floor just for us, giving us VIP, free pool, drink specials 21+, all for only $5 cover, normal cover is $10-$15)
Dress code: No shorts, jeans are ok, sneakers instead of slippers.

For those have you that have been to this meet before, we have been having a lot of fun, lets keep this meet alive. I know a lot of you guys are looking forward to going into the club, I saw you guys oggling at all the pretty girls walking in at the last meet.

Lets make this the first meet of its kind, where we go have fun on the road, and end it with a party.

I see a lot of you out there at the TC meet on Weds. but I started this meet a few months ago, because of the fact that cops can kick us out anytime they want at pretty much any meet that we go to. Except for the HUSH meet that I have set-up, we have plenty of fun, and never worry about the cops giving us any trouble. In fact, the cops work for us (Hush provides two cops, to make sure things don't get out of hand). So lets get the Mustangs out to this meet, you guys don't want to leave a fellow Mustang all alone, I had to deal with all the Ls1's by myself! it was fun, but I want more Mustangs there.

Count me in fo sho mang, Hear it was alot of fun last time so this time im in. Havent been to the club in a while either so its time for that too. I might have to find me some honeys to take on the cruise with me, they dig guys with fast cars lol........too bad mines slow :thumbdown

It's a LS1tech meet? And you're the "president"? Just curious, you have a sweet stang. Do you have an ls1 also or something? I've been checking out your turbo progress on some other sites and would love to see it in person. I too am a fellow v6er. I'm going to try to make it.

Its not a LS1 meet, its a meet that has been started by me. They called me President maybe because I am the one that organizes the meet, thats what I can guess. I do not have an LS1. Anyway, the point of the meet is not to make it like an exclusive meet to any one website, like most of these other meets out there. I just wanted everyone in Houston to get together, because the car scene needs a serious boost, so I invited many websites that I felt had the type of cars and people that represent us the best. LS1tech, WestsideMustangs, HTownracing, HTC, ZClub, HPD, and now Lonestar Stangswe. LS1tech just has a massive representation at this meet, so lets see what you guys can do. we have permission, and will have two cops that are working for us, not against us at this meet. they are being supplied by Hush, and I know one of the cops personally, they are there to make sure no one acts stupid. Anyway, I have typed too much, but I felt like I had to explain it, see you guys on Friday, I will post the final details and cruise route tomorrow, so that you know exactly what is going on.

Only a few days until the Hush meet, let me explain the final details for everyone. I would suggest that you either print this out or remember it, because it is going to have the cruise route, and a few other things that you are going to need to know.

Meet time: 9:30pm
Cruise at: 11pm
Back at: 12pm
Go inside Hush to talk about who is faster than who, play pool, and get the party on, all for $5 VIP (18+) cover, they are opening the second floor just for us.

*****There is a low chance of rain on Friday, in case it does, the rain date for this cruise/meet is July 29th.******

There are just two things you need to know to go into the club. First, guys don't wear shorts, wear jeans or some sort of pants, and dress decent. Doesn't have to be all dressed up, just decent. Second, I will have passes that I will be giving everyone, you will need to show these passes to the staff of Hush to get in for $5.

The cruise route:

I figured we would do a little something different, not the normal route, and I know these roads pretty well as far as the cop activity etc.

Leave Hush at 11pm, take a Right on the feeder, take a Left on Hwy 6 North (a few lights, this is where we roll together as a group, letting everyone catch up, getting ready to go play), go down to 290 (the fun starts), take a right on 290 East, to 610S, to I-10W, exit Park Ten, make a U-Turn and you are back at Hush.

I like this route because of its simplicity and its low traffic and high speeds. I am not interested in cruising together in a group and just looking at each other, and by the pm's and suggestions that I have received, neither are you. Lets have some fun guys, I am looking forward for the heat of the cruise and the cool down of the club. Yeah that was corny, deal with it. :p

Announcement:

Let me clarify the whole rain problem. If it rains tomorrow, but it stops and it is clear at 6pm, and looks like it is going to be a rain free night, then this meet is still going to take place. The only way its going to be cancelled is if it is raining on and off after 6pm. BUT, use your judgment, lets say it sprinkles for like half an hour at 6:30 and then stops, then yes the meet is still taking place. If it is cancelled the Rain Date is July 29th.

I have gotten a few pm's about the passes to go inside the club, I will be handing them out to you as you enter the meet tomorrow. See you then.
