Yeah they would be looking a certified letter from my lawyer in the face first thing in the morning.

Request:
New cobra with equal miles
All parts installed, all work done, compensation for time the car is down.

any reason i'm now hearing bad things about strictly from one of my good friends? are there any other shops besides strictly and houston that are good. Looking at doing a 5.4 swap into the 02 GT.

I heard that someone's Termi motor shit itself 4 days after being rebuilt there, and someone else's tranny has shit the bed 3 times after being there about a week or so after coming out of the shop, and thats with them being in the shop for months.

PSI in Webster is great, they do amazing work, and put out some great numbers. They are just a royal PITA to get ahold of.

No complaints other than that however.

They are the ONLY Houston shop I would take my car to for tuning. Even though Jeramey works over at Strictly I have heard too many horror stories over there.

I'm fairly new to the Houston area and I have heard negative things about strictly, but I still decided to visit anyway, they are/seem like nice guys just a little pricey. A buddy took his S/C 95 Cobra there and was very disappointed.

Visited PSI, Patrick seemed cool, tried to get over 5k in work done on my 91LX, but as stated earlier, I could never reach them from that point on. So work never got done.

Visited G-Force performance in Pearland, guys were great, had a clutch replaced in my 03 Cobra. I would recommend them, however there is only one guy that does their ford work so time may be an issue.

Started back doing alot of my own work... Cheaper.

Exclamation Stories

I think with any performance shop your gonna find a million and one horror stories.

And with internet forums, the problem is differentiating from which stories actually have the shop error to back them up, and which stories have USER error written all on them.

well I can tell you that a 12.5 a/f ratio will make a blown car blow up really quick and I believe that is not a USERS fault

I believe Patrick is moving into a new shop down the road, maybe he'll invest in a damn secretary?! I was going to get my cobra tuned at his shop last november/december, but it was too hard to get ahold of him. I ended up going to HPP in Lewisville.
