that's very true too...

Patrick at PSI is hard to get ahold of ... it can be frustrating. However, I have had my car at many shops in the last few year (from tuners, auto body, repairs, engine bulding, etc) and while it may be slow to get on the list at PSI, he is only shop that has been able to get power & drivability correct. Hell, his knowledge Ford Modulars also fixed problems that other shops created. Price was good, knowledge was great and the outcome is perfect.

And yes. I am a fan of PSI because of the great results he has produced for me

i feel like i got scr:wowspringwed at strictly

dropped of my car and picked it 2 days later for a tune , and all i got was hp reading , they also just uploaded the diablosport performance tune, they did not dyno tune it or used the custome tune part, i found this out out by checking the last tune written on the tuner

was the tune changed on your diablo? i bet it was. If it was'nt locked he probably just changed the tune that way it can be tuned again easier.

why put a car on the dyno if your only going to only put on a diablo tune..Why would he mess up his name on something that got known for? It just does'nt make sense...But there is always a maybe!

Thumbs down

i paid for a dyno tuned, they even told me to buy spark plugs and a cooler t-stat so they can get more out of it. So i told them to install them for me since i was dropping it of, they sure, day later they call me and told me it was ready , so i go and they give me sheet with my hp, no torque a/f ect. when i pay they told me that i didnt need the t-stat and spark plugs because my car didnt need them, so i said ok and paid what i had to pay. checked my tuner later that day and it said that the last tune written was the one that i had already installed which was the performance tune, not a custom dealer tune, all perameters were untouched except for the timing which was advanced 1or 2 degrees more than i had already advanced it. i was so pissed that i did nothing, my fault but i think you all would like to know.

the diffrence between the actual original diable tune and the on written by the tuner. There was a 7.5 hp difference to the wheels with his tuned compared to the diablo tune! Thats not custom? Mine was tuned also and I stayed and watched mine and myblack93gt's get done. Not to mention te countless others get done CUSTOM. Why would yours be so special?

Cool. Just I don't want to start a "war" either... Just giving my honest $.02..Not saying your a liar or anything..Every shop has horror stories and so on I just don't like ot when only people bash and not show there good results..In your account you were unsatisfied and should have said something. You still should. I would call Richard himself or talk to Jeramey and see whats going on..maybe a retune?

i agree with saying something.

Another side to this is that the hand held tuners do not show you all the possible parameters when it comes to tuning a car. The hand held tuners will only show a few parameters like spark advance, gear ratio, fuel, etc...
It is possible that the only change you can see via your hand held is the added timing as he may have made that change after the fact. He may also leave the tune titles the same as they are from Diablo.
For example, my custom tune still has the name of the original tune from SCT, but it is very custom as my software shows. My A/F is much different from stock, but everytime I load it back onto my hand held, I still have the same +/- fuel options as well as spark advance. If you were to look at my hand held and compare it to one off the shelf, there isn't much difference to the rookie.

Maybe you did get screwed, but you are not giving us enough info to agree. You should call Strictly and complain regardless. If they blow you off, then by all means go back to bashing them.

Hi guys,

Has any one gone to FastLanes? How is their workmanship? I drive by it all the time but I was trying to get some opinions about the shop first.
