My house in Houston is a couple minutes away from a shop, I think it's called Fatal Performance. Anyone heard of it?

Fastlane Incorporated, Think Fast!
I'll bring it up. My car is there now for a bumper swap, and I just had new rotors put on. So far, I've been very happy with the service - they call me back when they say they will, arranged a rental car with Enterprise, and said they can have my new bumper painted and installed in time for the weekend. IF they do what they say they can, I'll have a window graphic, and right now, I only have one window graphic on my car. Anyone that knows me, knows I'm not a sticker fan. Final decision will be when I get the car dynoed and retuned, cuz right now it sucks ass on the track.

PM me if you're interested in more feedback, but so far, I like Fastlane. And they seem to specialize in the S197s.

ewww...Strickly sucks!!! Blew up 4.7 that they installed a supercharger on because they didnt tune it right. So what did they do after rebuilding the motor, installed the wrong tune again. So now the car stalls and chokes! They want to keep the car for a few days to install the correct damn tune but that isnt happening. Last time they drove the car over 200 miles! The supercharger needs a new filter but the dumb ass cant even order one in bc they keep forgeting!

Strictly Performance sucks!

I sent my car to them for a BAP, Clutch/Input shaft, Headers and a tune. They told me 3 days. I got it back 3 1/2 weeks later.

The headers leaked.
The Transmission was filled with GEAR OIL
The bap was wired up wrong and not working.
The motor ran lean and blew.

2 F**king days after getting the car back.

Their eagerness to talk to me and take my money quickly went away when things went wrong.
They wouldn't return my calls, e-mails or even respond to my threads and PM's on SVTP.

NOT WALLY NOT RICHARD NOT NO ONE.

So there you have it. I could have happily f**ked up my own car for free, but instead, paid someone over $2,000 to f**k it up for me.

I would not let Strictly change the wheels on my Skateboard. Owing to the fact that there are countless horror stories that are simelar to mine, I fail to see how these clowns are still in business.

There, now you know how I really feel.

All shops have horror stories and I would not be trashing sponsors, so if you don't like them fine but dont be a f****ing dick and trash them over the internet. Thats just childish grow up!

You never met me and you call me that. Refresh my memory again on the definition of 'childish'

I'll trash them until I have my $2,000 worth of pleasure out of it and ooh my 8 grand or so it cost to rebuild the motor.

They are a bunch of idiots sponsor or not.

Just because you sponser a public forum, doesn't mean you have bought the right to censor everyone's opinion of you. If it does, then my stay at LSS will be brief, and I will continue to tell the truth about what happened to my car elsewhere in the public arena.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO AVOID THEM, or they need to man up and apologise for their mistakes.

Like you said... "don't trash what you don't know" clearly... YOU have no firsthand knowledge of the situation.

This thread is about the different performance shops in Houston, AND personal experience. Just because you're a Strictly Fanboy 93gt doesn't mean everyone has to swing from their cajones.

SXI isn't out of line in this thread.

nothing wrong with giving negative feedback to a performance shop.
That is a risk a any shop takes when they provide poor service.

No no no. Now you are just confusing arguments. I am not stepping between you and SXI. I am just clearly stating facts for the rest of the thread. We have had our own arguments over Strictly. That is a dead horse that I have quit beating.

And for the record, they tune to blow your car up, not for power

We're sorry you gave it too :p

Just let it go man, I'm not jumping on your case, I have no desire to continue arguing this with you. Just let it go that several people have been burned by Strictly. I have no trouble admitting that they do have some cars that have made more than one pass down the track, and I have seen a well tuned vert that he did. They aren't all bad, but they sure as heck aren't all good.

Sounds more like it!
I'm sure he does better work to the ppl he knows than the average joe(me)
My car was never fixed and when Richard said ''I'll have it ready in 3 days"it turned out to be 2 weeks and my car was never fixed right.

So to make the long story short just Fix-it yourself!

Feedback on Fastlane - I'm VERY happy with the service and the paint work I received. These guys took good care of me, and I plan on sending more work their way.
