since you are in Laporte, the easiest way to go would be
225 west(towards H-town)
Get on 610 north and go over the big bridge
Stay on 610 until you start approaching teh austin (290) exit.
the two far right lanes off of 610 will exit onto 290
take the 290 exit and stay on it for a while.
take highway 6 east towards college station.
exit southwest prkwy and take a left on it.
the second street on the right is central park
central park will dead into the park.
http://www.mapquest.com/directions/m...106&panelbtn=2
this is what mapquest says, just be sure to take a right on central park, not a left like mapquest says.

yea, it starts at noon. mike and myself will be out there a little earlier to save some spots and make sure all is well.

i THINK we have everything covered. bring your own beer, if you want to drink. coolers with ice would be nice, unless someone else chimes in and says they will bring coolers. ive only got one, and im not even sure if i can find it, haha. bring some meat if you want to. we should have enough meat, but i think we oughtta just shoot for what we already have set out, and if we need more meat or something, maybe you could just chip some cash or something and we could just head out to the HEB real quick.

cliffnotes: you shouldnt have to bring anything unless you got a cooler, would be nice.

AND SOME LAWN CHAIRS. im gonna bring two chairs. im not sure how much seating there is at this place, so if yall have some fold up chairs, might wanna bring one just in case!

ALSO... if yall havent PMed me your phone numbers yet, you might want to. if you dont want to give it out, thats understandable. just wanted to have some contact numbers in case something happens at the last minute and we relocate, which i doubt will happen, but always could.

So uhhh even though i am a new member I'M going to basic training on the 17th and im stuck out here in Virginia till Sunday and i would really like to get to meet alot of ya'll before i leave. I'll be gone for only 4 1/2 months but after that from what i understand im getting shipped to either Ft. Bragg or Ft. Cambell, basically N. Carolina or Kentuky. But is there any chance we could get together before then again. Hell i'll even bring the beer! lol I'm serious.

My cell is 281-513-5197 - Blake.

I'll see about bringing some meat and soft drinks in a cooler. I'm drivin so drinkin is out of the question for me lol.

Good idea on the lawnchairs, someone should bring a football and a frisbee. I'll bring mine if I can find them. I think someone stole my frisbee though.

i forgot, why cant you make it out to this one?

its doubtful that we could get a fullscale meet going on before then, but id be down for some wings or something, if you want we could get a few of the stangers together for some lunch or dinner sometime before then.

sounds good.
as for another full-blown meet before the 17th it appears unlikely.
the weekend of the 17th i will be racing at HRP. if you want you can head down there and make a few runs before you do any more mods to your car.

aright, sounds good. just, at sonic dont try and recruit a whole bunch of non-stangers. a few are welcome. but i do want to emphasize that this is an LSS meet, not a friday night sonic meet. you know?
