As for the date of this, I'm pretty much good with anything we come up with. I don't have any major items coming up any time in the near future. I don't really see the need to wait, either. But, maybe planning two different days back-to-back in case one day is rained out might be a good idea.

I doubt this time of year we would need to reserve a place, but we can..I believe you go to Parks and Rec.....if we schedule it for a Saturday and then have a Sunday backup we have a better chance of being able to do this!!

nah, we've never had a problem with it in the past.

i'll usually show up pretty early just to "claim" one of the sections there for us. i usually get there around noon, and it's dead around that time.

what date do you have in mind? febuary is out - 19th will be the shoot-a-thon, and the 26th is the cruise. in march, i know that one person is trying to set up a lunch with 2 other clubs on the 5th, and the campathon is on the 19th.

chips does have a point.

and to help the planning process of future meets, i plan to update the Calender tomorrow and make sure every event/meet that has been planned thus far is listed. That way you can always go and check to make sure you aren't trying to plan a new meet/event on a date that is currently already planned for.

also keep in mind the FFW events... as i do plan on attending most, if not, all of the FFW events in Texas this year.

by the looks of the bbq pics i would probably be the only fox out there, but i would definitely be up for a photo day....that would be pretty sweet :jeff:

if we keep it to just a photo day and not a bbq, we should be able to swing doing it soon, even with the upcoming events. a bbq would be an all-day thing, photo shoot (if done semi-efficient) should be within a few hours.

Good point. Maybe we could schedule two different events...one just photos for a few hrs, and one that's an all day/evening bbq and photo event.

I am down for the pics when a day is set.

I also suggest to Kiernan, since you have all the equpt. I think You should decide on the date bet suited for yourself(no equit. no pics) Then we can all chime in as to our availability for said day. Just a thought ...................... :mustngsha

Nah not the only one.. Bighoss, BigJSA they drive fox's. There are several more just can't think right now...

And my vote would be for early April as well...lots of time for folks to make plans, AND will make for better planning, which should equal a better time...

I checked out Eisenhower park on my way out the gate this afternoon. We can probably get good still pictures there, but there is absolutely nowhere there to get motion shots. I don't have any better ideas, however.

I'm good for Apr 2nd. I second the vote to make that the official day. If, however, folks want to get together sooner for just some photos, I'm good with that also if enough people are interested (say 5 cars or so).
