How 'bout a photo day?

Been tossing this idea around for a while now. I'd break out the good camera and we'd all meet with the 'Stangs for some pictures of the cars. We could get some still shots of each, some group shots, and even some motion shots with the owners driving them (motion shots are the best!). My camera can handle just about anything and produces great results.

All we need to do is come up with a date/time and a location that has an attractive backdrop. Wooded roads or tree-lined parking lots are the best.

So, who's interested and has some suggestions on any of the above?

I'd be game for this. Eisenhower park off of Military Hwy and 1604 has some nice scenery....

I was thinking of Camp Bullis for some pics for myself, actually, since I work there. Eisenhower park is right outside the gate and should provide similar scenery. I've never driven back in it, though, to see what's available. I can do that tomorrow after work to see what types of shots we could set up there.

I'm good with that idea. I, however, can't cook anything that involves more than pouring milk over something in a bowl. Someone else will have to spearhead that aspect of it.

no problem! i just happen to be the parking lot grill master:mick: larry03gt is the regular grill master and he makes a mean burger, so we should be pretty well covered on cooking.

when would you want to do this? i'm thinking early april would be good - it'll be warm out.

I had an idea of a photo day about a year ago out here in the country with some decent scenery. But I guess I got too busy and wasnt able to do it. Still wouldnt mind it, I think it is a lot of fun and we can get burn-out photos out here. :blkvnm:

Sounds like a great idea. Only thing my car isnt exactly photogenic right now. Maybe 2 years ago when my paint looked good, and i wasnt missing a few cosmetic peices. Interior looks pretty good though.

Anyway sounds like fun.

That's when the first "professional" pics of your car were taken, correct? :jmg680:

Why do we need to wait until April??? The weather hasn't been too uncomfortable during the day...and we have had some really nice weekends??? It's not like we live in the NE where it is snowing!!!
