How to tell what your factory gears are?

Does anyone know of a way to tell what gears came with the car from the factory? thanks guys.

Dang sorry guys and I cant believe I did the post in the wrong section, what was i thinking??? anyway I tried to delete the thread and it wouldnt let me. My car is a 2000.

3.27's from the factory....

I don't know about you mustang guys... but on my truck... it's listed on a sticker in the glove box... and also in the door well of the driver door.

Jack up the car. For every one revolution of the tire, you should have about 3 3/4 turns of the driveshaft for 3:73's.

I'm sure it's a 3.27 but it's on the tag that's attached to the rearend cover.It will even tell you if it's a locker.
