motorcraft Triple Clean works pretty good on grease and other stains might wanna try it

I take the seats out and pressure wash them....let them sit for a day in the sun to dry out. Works great

I've also tried my house carpet hoover steam cleaner. It conveniently has the upholstery cleaner connection. It's kind of slow but works good when sucking out all the grim dirty water.

I pull the seats, take them to the local car wash and use the high-pressure wand on them. If they are really gicky ... pre-wash them with some Tide (like laundry! or Gain or whatever you use) and a scrub-brush before you take 'em! Make sure to scrub EVERYTHING with the Tide, not just spots or you'll end up with "clean spots."

Wash and rinse them WELL! Rinse them five times more after you think they are rinsed!!!!!

Take 'em home, use the ol' shop-vac to extract all the water you can (take your time; an hour per seat) and then let them dry for a day before you put them back in ... if you cannot wait to put them in ... run your heater to help dry them out quickly.

They'll come out looking like new. I've done it many times (buy shit cars & clean them up and sell them for 3x the money!) and it never fails and never hurts anything.

Rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse ... is the key. (Found out the hard way -- Re-Do!)

You can also try the 409 Carpet cleaner, it works really well, foams up the stains. Or Tuff Stuff, it's an aersol cleaner, but it's safe for carpet/upholstery.
