ive been meaning to look into this one, i heard about it a long time ago and keep hearing some hype about it. i also heard it will not be supported fluently in the US yet because it only used the frequencys in europe/asia...so you would have to rely on the very few towers that may support its signal

Yea, i looked at the site earlier and it said it used only European signals.

cuz there are technically towers here that will support the signal, but only certain cities are really gonna be covered well. SA is not one of those cities, i speak from experience as Sony Ericcson makes a few like that, they do work here but people always complain of dropped calls and low bars all day every day. they are great world phones if that is what people are buying them for, but not always great for homeland use. now maybe they will make another version yeah, but that would be the only hope of it working 100% here
