Hurricane commin at us?

They are saying there's a chance this new hurricane can hit us.

If it hits the gulf they're estimating a catagory 3 or 4 hurricane cuz of the sizzling hot water we got.

And it may get pulled this way. Our high preassure front that we've had is reeceding back towards cali, which is supposidly sucking that badboy this way.

And then if it hits corpus then we are on the much famed "tornado" side of a hurricane. Which is the only bad side of a hurricane we would ever feel.

If it hits anywhere along our coast between houston and corpus we should expect some good rain and MUCH NEEDED.

Just crossing my fingers to all in its path, and i especially feel sorry for all those guys from new orleans... cuz they just got out of the hurricane lol and now they got one commin at them even tho they're not home.

just random FYI.. keep ur eye on it.

If it hits corpus kiss your gass prices goodbye. They'll hafta shut down all the oil pumps and off shore oil rigs for saftey, yay. Say hello to 5 bucks a gallon.

I'm hoping I get caught up in SA and I get to miss a day or two of work

Holy Crap! Its all my fault. I jinxed us. Just a few days after Katrina I was talking to my cousin about what it would be like if a hurricane hit Texas. Basically the trajectory it looks like it is going to take is pretty much exactly the one I illustrated. Really though, that is weird.

I guess its about time though. After so many hurricanes and stuff for so many years and with all the warm water in the Gulf, you would expect at least one to get Texas every year.

I will be outside calling it out Luitenant Dan style when it gets here.

This is some crazy tropical weather that the gulf has seen this year. This hurricane coming this way now has more potential of getting stronger than the one that hit New Orleans. I just hope everyone get's the hell out of the way of this one or we could see another human catastrophy. :thumbdown

So does that mean I'm okay to run around with my t-tops off today?

People kept telling me how we are supposed to get flooding and extremely bad weather, etc., but I just don't see it happening.

"Weathermen are so full of sh!t it defies description. Al Roker was making 1.5 million dollars as a weatherperson. AS A WEATHERPERSON!! And he doesn't know anything. A few years ago we had a blizzard in New York City. Al predicted we'd get 4-12 inches of snow. We had 36 inches! Giving him the benefit of the doubt, he's 2 feet off. Thats not even in the ball park. If you were a roofer and you built a roof. And it was 2 feet off... you'd still be serving time." -Lewis Black-

you wanna know what we got?

we got all the hot weather that the other cities were lacking because they had rain.

yay lol.

I worked 44 hours in 3 days, and it was 99-109 the whole damn time. I prefer the heat over the cold.. but i mean.. COME ON!

Glad it didnt NAIL houston dead on. Coulda been much worse than just having cars run out of gas.
