True, but lets face it. They don't come factory "done right", my friends is an example of this. Besides, I KNOW chevy did not build most of their camaros as autos just cuz they would run faster times at the track. Also, call me crazy, but I enjoy "driving" my car around, not just steering. But, could just be me...

the 6-speed was actually an option on V-8's. A no cost option, but an option none the less.

they didn't offer the 6speed till like 96??? when I bought my 94 I thought they only had 5speeds.

sorry, i was talking about ls1's in general...but i believe all 93+ V-8's had 6-speed offered

and yes coop, my fist car was a 83 v6 and then I got an 89rs v8 and I had a 94 z28 :jeff:

I know, my friend in Houston has an '01 SS with a 6-speed, but what I was saying is that MOST of them have autos while at the same time most v8 mustangs have 5-speeds. I'm not saying that having more autos than standards is bad, just kinda weird because they are sports cars.
