i bought a ford.........

Well, got my replacement for the Trans Am today. bought me a 1986 Ford escort EXP. little toy of mine. Code name for this one is HO. Its got a 1.9l H.O 4cyl engine. Backed with a 5sp tranny. Minor work needs to be done to it. just did the brakes today. Im replacing the tie rod ends(i think thats what theyre called) and a brake line tomorrow...........I will have pics up tomorrow afternoon. Its black btw. looks like a LX Stang........... :jmg680:

First mod session was yesterday.

New drivers side rotor
new drivers side caliper
new pads on the front

Todays session includes, but not limited to:

drivers side brake line
thermostat replacement
drivers side tie rod end
passengers side tie rod end

its got an overheating problem that i hope is just the thermostat. I will be posting up pics shortly......

Sport it out like our Good friends across the pond....they put a sweet turbo 1.9 CVH motor in their version though....Great buy Coop!

i need a front ford emblem for it, also a mustang front grill thing...........im gonna rip the escort emblems off and put some stang ones on. turn it into a 1986 Ford Mustang Mock 1. lol.
