I got SECOND place at TAD mustang shootout

first time ever running in the shootout i had no idea what i was doing a guy named brent( red MACH1) from burgstrom was helping me out. i ran with 14.1 dial in as i had been consistent with my 14.1s and 14.2s so i went with that. the final was against mid 80's firebird i actually won the race but i broke out i ran 13.92 my best TIME EVER so i guess it was a good trade off getting into the 13's and not getting first, the firebird broke out aswell but he only broke out by like .05 i think. it was blast im gonna start running these every time they have them. maybe i can start running a 13.9 consistently in my cobra and ill get to wear a helmet lol.

That is AWESOME!!! big time congrats...sorry I missed it as work owns me this weekend. Your times are getting killer...just seat time or did you add more mods? Again, damn good job and I bet you're psyched.

VERY COOL, Juan. CONGRATS. Sorry we didn't make it out there. It was too cold and I was busy installing a new billet MSD distributor and MSD coil on the coupe.

Yea i was looking for you guys all night long but its cool, i had a blast i had no idea what i was doing in the shootout i actually lost the first round but i bought back in i guess it was worth it lol. Matt i havent done anything to my car i just keep getting better every time i go, the only thing we swapped out were spark plugs and that really seemed to help out i was running 14.2s consistently and then all of a sudden i broke 14.1, 14.01 and then bang the 13.92 it was great im still psyched. like i was telling jose even though the 13.9 ended up making me lose in the shootout it was a great tradeoff cuz i got into the 13s. anyway yall let me know next time yall are going and ill be there ill try to drag jose along with me.

I might make it out next weekend. Am going to try and get my locker and axles in this week, but we'll see. If not then I'll be a spectator again.

13's ..... nice Christmas present if I may say!!!
