i know ive asked this question before...

but, since i have the opportunity to do it now, figured it may be a different story.

the 86GT bumper cover is extremely hard to find. i really want it, however i dont think ill be able to find one. so anyways, here is what i was thinking...

that saleen front bumper cover looks bad ass.

for a total of 400$ i could get the rear valance, side skirts and front air dam. i dont like the look of a regular front bumper without headlights, so this is my alternative. and if i did this, i would eventually get the rear wing, and of course some beef to back up the looks.

ive always lusted over this picture:

so maybe that could be my new goal now that i dont have the mach1 hood anymore?

whatchu guys think??? if i do it, i might as well do it now, while the car needs to be painted!

i do think it'd look good. however, and this is just me probably, but if i got a fox i'd want it to be 100% sleeper. OE everything, and suprise people. i wish i would have done that with my v6 because with every day i care less about the appearance and more about the fact i am slow. :emb: but if you do go for it, it'll look hella nice. :jeff:

I saw your other post in the Tech section and I guess ill give you this link here. They should have eveything you need to go back to stock, or if you want to go the saleen route they may have it or other aftermarket companies may too.

ive already looked there. take another look bro, there is no 86 GT.. emphasis on GT. they only have the one without foglights. i already have one of those. my buddy gave me one for free, and i thought it was the GT one, but never took too close a look at it to realize i was a dumbass. haha. the whole reason i didnt wanna do the saleen look before is because i wanted fog lights still, but if i cant find the GT bumper (for fog lights) might as well just do the saleen thing.

jeff-- ill be keeping the stock hood, i already have one. like i said, i totally lust over that saleen in that picture, so eventually ill probably get that banshee kit as well.

Why do you need fog lights?Drive through alot of fog?I know it's a matter of personal taste but it's one less thing to have to replace when they go bad.!:jeff:

might look like a line in front of the light, you could have a shop cut out that middle bar and stick the fog in there, your foglights look big enough to fill that gap nicely.
