Just remember guys....If you get pulled over with any sort of detector or jammer, you are guaranteed a ticket.

That's why my radar detector sits low on the dash directly in front of me, just high enough to clear the wipers, so it is hardly visible to the cop behind me. And if I get pulled over, I have this rehearsed method of removing it and hiding it under the seat.

1 of the tickets I was setup, cop stopped me just to ask me about my car and try to say that I ran a stop sign and drove reckless, got a lawyer and we looked at camera and it showed he was lying, dismissed....

Then I had a lawyer fight a 91 in a 70, and another reckless, dismissed...... (he must have hit someone else with his radar..... )

Third ticket I plead no contest to, was like 10-20 over... can't remember, or something, did drivers awareness online, ticket was gone.

Just saying if you get a ticket, hire a traffic attorney, you will almost always win, and it isnt on your record.

I have like 2 more months left from a year ago until the plea of no contest is gone, which means I can take driver awareness for the next one :frotastic

I agree a speeding ticket is a speeding ticket. Watch out for the cops on O'Connor going towards I-35. Our daughter got one a couple months ago on that road.

If Impala Mike reads this - "Bite Me" I'll never match your three tickets in three months even if I try really, really hard.

Oh yeah, if you have a professional driver's license (Class A CDL) you can't weasel your way out of a ticket anymore. Again, ask Impala Mike. He found that out after his last ticket.

Gotta do something. The maximum speed limit on the island is like 50 KM. No speeding here. Besides there is always the risk of hitting a cow that has wandered onto the road.
