I need tint redone...

Hey guys and gals, I need to get the tint redone in my car... it's starting to look bad... I want to know who's been where and their opinions on the shop... I want to find a shop that does quality work for a good price. I want to get 2 cars done at once and see if I can get a discount... lemme know, Thanks! :jeff:

Hey, I do stereos,security and car video but I know a guy who is real good and uses good stuff. I can get his card in the morning. He is mobile and can do it at your job/home . He has a on board plotter ........

no clue what a plotter is? lol but ok, let me know about it. I want to get my Cobra done, and my girlfriends mazda mx-6 done too, thanks!

Sorry I forget I have wanted one for so long I think everyone knows what it is. You feed tint into it and it is linked with a computer you type in the car info and it cuts the tint for you. Makes the job much easier and cleaner.

Anyone know off hand what prices are like around here??? I paid 109 in San Diego for my back window, the 1/4 windows, and the side windows

its gonna be a bit more becaue you have to take your tint off (unless you do it yourself)

i highly recommend him. ive used him 3 times now for myself. the one time, he had to remove all the nasty tint on the 85 (including t-top tint which is hard to do) and did an excellent job.

one suggestion for you... wait until the end of summer to get it done. right now, with summer still in, prices will still be normal. when winter comes closer, the price will get lower. supply and demand my friend. seriously, i got mine done in the winter 2 times out of 3 and paid MUCH less for it during the winter, or towards middle of fall.

and like everyone else said.. itll be a bit more because you have to remove tint. but yes he does have lifetime warranty on it, but keep the receipt somewhere in your car files or something. and just like i said in the previous post, do it in winter. he usually has specials and will hook you up.

Wilson did my car w/20% al the way around for something like $90 if I remember correctly. This was during the winter. He charges $40 to remove the old tint if memory serves me right. So, with it being the summer and you needing the old tint removed it would probably be around $150.

Carried the Civic Si beater to him yesterday @ 2.00 and picked it up @ 5.30.
Good guy to deal with.Be sure you call him as he is on a "working vacation".
He will only be there if he has an appointment.
