There are a LOT of scams on ebay...

i've had 3 incidents, but all were reversed, and money was returned \ refunded through paypal.

One.. i had my account hacked and i appearantly sold 3 cars lol. I got an ACTUAL PHONE CALL, from someone stating they were ebay, who alerted me of the situation and that i should check my email\ebay messages immideatly for further contact and remedy of the situation lol.

The last one just happened 3 days ago... buying an ipod as a present to a cousin of mine, even though seller had 300 positive feedback he was scamming. Ebay alerted through messages saying they canceled all his auctions, and that if i've already paid i should go dispute through paypal.

JUST got the money back today (185 bucks) so, even though there are scams you're covered PRETTY WELL so long as you deal within ebay.

Tho that guy is pretty funny lol
