I had my tires mounted on my Faleens today. I didn't think to take any pics. I didn't go 60 miles to see my car, but my cousin came to my house today! He said all the emblems are put on & still working on mounting my headlights. They painted to underside of that new hood today. Josh says they'll paint the outer side tomorrow. I gave him the new hood shocks brackets I was taking him on Thur. He says other than my hood, should be ready to go to my upholsters! Can't wait to see it! I'll bring back a lot of pics.

I have all but decided I'll just leave my rims in chrome! As soon as I get it back, I'll have someone PS me some black rims. I just like clean chrome too much!!

    She's home!!!!

Here's a before to refresh your memory!!

Here is it w/o a bath, that tomorrow I will give weather permitting!!!
I edited this pic 5 times. still on it's side. Sorry!! Never mind, I think it will work!!

No more ford logo!! That was an UPR billet piece I had painted.

I have this tattoo'd on my right calf!!

The inspection ran out in Nov of 08. I had it inspected today, while work was being done to get her drivable. The date is May in 2010. I added a period to make it 5.0! I thought it was kinda cool!

Like I said, I hope to wash it tomorrow. Hell, it don't matter if it rains, I guess!! Hope y'all like because I LOVE IT!!! Be nice if you don't like it. Keep your opinions to yourself. Just say. "It's nice." & move on.

I'll never upgrade my current motor, thanks though. This is all the power I need. With my brain injury, it's really not safe for anybody for me to drive too fast. I can't process the info @ higher speeds. Before my wreck, you bet I'd want to upgrade it. I have taught myself to not even consider it now, though. This is 1 of a lot of stuff I can no longer do. I'm perfectly OK with this! Plus, the slower I go the more people can see it.

When it blows, I want to get a 94-95 Cobra motor. Not for more power. Thanks though!!!

Did not know that you had a wreck and had kind of injury, I can understand wanting to keep it more stock. came out looking good and like I said before, good to know people!

Had the interior & new top done today. I forgot to get the top, I will after I do this. I had my Hunsaker seats, light bar dyed black, & my black RSD put in. I wanted the tan inserts done, but we had our wired crossed so he didn't do that. More later!! I will wash it all up tomorrow! These are just to get by until I take better pics.

Those seats do not fit my car. The hit when you close the door & I hit the steering wheel with my knees when I drive. I am having them reupholster my stock seats. He says he will buy these for his Nova he's working on. Not @ all happy with them!! I hate change, but this is different. Oh well, it will all work out. Glad he didn't add the inserts to them now. Huh, I remembered! I'll go take pics with the top up.

    Top Pics:

Southernstang93, I was out riding ATV's on the river bottom & jumping the sand dunes. I guy made a jump with a blind spot for a landing, guess where I was? He landed on my back left shoulder. I was in a coma for about 3 months. I remembered my family & my cat, just not that I was married. Had to relearn how to do everything, even like talk. I knew how to do most stuff, I just had to learn a new way to do it. I now suffer from almost the worst case of vertigo one can have. Not the worst because I never get nauseous, that would suck! There's a lot wrong with me now. I still have my cat:

Thanks!! I happen to think it look pretty good, but I know I am way biased.

Did I say that coming home, I saw they were re-asphalting a hwy I would drive on? There's a way around it, but it's kinda a long ways. It was the only way I was 100% sure of. It was only about a 200 ft patch of road that I went about 35 miles to bypass. But while I was taking the other way, I drove by a Sonic. There was a worker outside that gave me a hand signal. I guessed he wanted me to rev it up, so I did. I got about 1/2 a mile, & thought to myself he wanted me to pull over. I needed to ask directions so I flipped a U. Got back to him & he said he was 1 of the kids that worked on my car! He said he thought it was it, just wasn't for sure. Cool to shake the kids hand that worked on my car. So that long way to drive was kinda worth it.

Thanks!! My 1st set of light housings were from BOI. For my 2nd, they are the same lights, just from a different company. I clear siliconed the crap out of these! I'm hoping my seats are almost done so I can close this thread! It's still not through, so I keep it going.

I've got 4300K HID's from vvme.com in them right now. They are just not right. The highs are the lows & stuff. I think the LH one doesn't shine like it should. I never drive @ night, so this is OK for now.

I've got some wax from Obsessive Detail. It is the kind you just spray on & wipe off with a micro-fiber. Supposed to last for 5 months.

Car looks good but 2 things:

    1. turn up the bass on that factory radio &
    2. anyone else notice the primered V6 rolling on DUBS in the background of one of the last few pics (outside CONOCO station)? makes ur ride look even better!!!

I have been very upset with it since I got it back. It's been not running 1 thing after another. I bought the cluster gauges from a 94 Cobra for it. I painted my stock needles to black. I had these put on them. My gas gauge never moved. It was like that from 7/1 on. I had the needles that came on them put back on like Wed? Works now! Before this, I was fixing to sell it! I was fed up with it. If somebody wants it, I will still. Since it's worked better, I'm back to happy with it.

Sorry, I am now extremely anal! I keep up with every miles per gallon, & stuff. I never take it down that low, so I had no idea how many miles I could get out of my tank. I just needed that gauge to work, I guess.

Check it out now! I've had these seats in the getting done phase since around 10/6/08. Just a lot of BS kept them from being done! I finally got what I wanted done! Here they are:

Had my chrome rims powder coated black. That too took a lot longer, but they're done! Here they are:

She is pretty muchly all bought out. Truth is, not a lot more I can buy. Not doing any to the perf, though! Mine's only for the looks. Hope y'all enjoy like I have!!
