I want to move out of SA, where should i go?

I really want to move from San Antonio. Two things I want for sure are less extreme summers and a bigger city (SA is pretty big size-wise but it doesnt have the feel of oh say... houston)
Anyone been to denver? Weather seems really good there but im kind of worried that its really similar to SA.
Also thought about Seattle and Minneapolis, im still open to other suggestions...

I think the best way to answer this is to first determine what kind of work you will be doing, and see if you can make a living do that in any particular city. If money isnt an object, then you have alot of choices where to live.

If I could afford to, I would live in NYC for 6 mos, and the Carribbean Islands the other 6.

Florida
for the big city feel either Miami or Jacksonville.

I am in Indianapolis right now and its a pretty cool city.

Denver is awesome, but cold snowy winters

Chicago is an awesome awesome city

All those cities are smaller than S.A. It's all about your preference; rain, snow, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes or heat. I'll stick with the heat.

i feel like JACKSON MISS.................nah.....if you want big city, NYC. Florida seems like too much of a risk w/ hurricanes. but hell what do i know. hate on this all you want, but Virginia Beach, Nags Head, and all the east coast spots are nice. not real big, but beautiful.

Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV. Desert climate and within driving distance of the other 3 seasons should you want them. My family lives in AZ and I plan on moving there within the next 5-7 years. Great job market, reasonable cost of living and you can drive 3 or 4 hrs north and be in Flagstaff with snow and the Grand Canyon if you like.

I'm not going to be working for anyone else (if i do it won't be for long) so a job isn't really a big issue.
I wouldn't consider Florida, im trying to escape the heat and humidity. (when i went to Orlando it was SO clean, really liked it except for the humidity)
I love cool weather so thats no prob either, snow is fine as long as it doesn't get crazy out of hand and becomes a hassle (chicago or minneapolis?)
I know I would love NYC or several places in Cali but i'd really have to look into the cost of living in those places, I mean people live there so its gotta be possible but...

Too bad i cant visit all these places, is Denver bigger/more fast-paced than SA?

I agree I will be the first to say if you have the money to spend, Hawaii I went there for vacation last year and loved it. What I didn't like was the price of everything over there it's expensive. I could also settle for a cooler climate but don't want the front bumper acting as a snowplow up north.

I agree. Very beautiful. Not too expensive either. I personally love hot weather, hate cold with a passion, so TX works for me.
