Identifing the GTS?

When I got my insurance they ran my vin and said it was a GTS/GT. How do I know for certain if my stang is a GTS? Is there some simple thing to identify it?

2 or 3 years only for the GTS.
I dont think 98 was one of them.

According to Wikipedia the GTS was only in 95

For 1995, a one-year model referred to as the Mustang GTS was introduced. This was considered a "stripped down" version of the Mustang GT, which still featured the performance parts of the GT model but with a minimum of non-performance parts. This included the removal of options such as leather seating, foglights, a compact disc player, and power accessories. A similar model, referred to as the '248A', was produced for 1996-1998 but was no longer marketed as a 'GTS'.

the insurance companies don't care what they call it they'd charge you the same either way.

THe 94-95 were the only ones to carry the actual GTS name. THe 96-98's could be ordered the same, but did not have the actual GTS name and are know as the order code which is like 248a or something like that

there is no GTS in 98.... as said before

my gts came with:
cloth seats
no ABS
no Cruise
standard stereo
no fogs
manual windows
manual locks
Optional v6 spoiler
optional rear defroster

It has been as lite as 2945 with stock heads, prostars, stock k member and front coilovers
Throw in aluminum heads (-50), tubular k and A arms(-35), racing seats and you do the math...
