Test the V-REF to ground voltage.

dude jody, can't always sound like a tech can you? lol.
easy way is what he says, in english, straighten a safety pin(2) and gently push along the wire into the sensor connect. check the diagram for hot and ground. one will very with throttle plate movement, you should read <.9 volts. on the output)the one going to the computer. When you move the throttle plate it should change voltage. No you do not need to have the ENGINE running but put the car in KOEO. that way you can put the car to WOT and not rev the shit out of it. at that point,, like Jody says, you should be @ 4.5-4.7 (unless your car is tuned to go to a full 5 volts.

Hello, I'm trying to get as much help as I can with this, I started my own thread so answer where you see fit. 96greengt, if you can help, I'd really appreciate it. NOT trying to threadjack, so you can reply on the other one.
Basically... see this thread for my problem Ok need some help quick please! Not the same problem, but TPS readings are opposite what everyone else says they should be. I think I have an air/fuel issue because it doesn't idle much differently...
