Idle problem?
When I started up my car today I noticed it was idling rough, and my rpm dial was below 1. What could be the problem it was running fine the last time i drove it which was Wednesday. Thanks in advance.

IAC's are known for failure on these engines... try removing it and cleaning it with carb cleaner, do the MAF as well just to keep the sensor wire clean.

Carbon build up is 80% of the cause usually, but it is also an electrical issue at times as well. You can clean it once every 15k miles for added insurance it stays clean, but when it fails electrically, there is nothing you can do. Somewhere I have a good used one, I'll have to dig it up, but it is a OEM IAC.

you should only clean the IAC as last attempt. this is not a clean regular thing. we tend to have a lot of hot weather in SA. so when the cold hits the IAC has to "unscrew" more than normal. which gives that temp run rough. most of the time it will fix itself. this is just like car batteries in the cold as well...

I cleaned the IAC and replaced the PCV valve, now I am going to try to change the electronic part, cant remember what its called, but it has a sensor and two screws. It is attached to the Plenum if I remember correctly.

So if its anything other than that, I should replace it? And I didnt even know you tested it while it was on the car, I figured you had to pull it off. To test it I just remove the plug and test the inside of the tp sensor?

No, you back probe the wires. It needs to be plugged in due to the V-REF for voltage. You can ohm it, but I do not rely on ohms, voltage is a better way to test.
